Our Commitment
Backyard Pool & Spa has been providing high quality pool and spa services since 1957. We are a 4th generation family owned and operated company. We are committed to providing high quality pool and spa services and we take pride in our work in order to give your pool and spa the personal attention they need to run efficiently.
Our Team
Founders
Frank “Skip”
Founder and Warehouse Manager
Skip partnered with his father Frank Sr. over 60 years ago to start a pool service company that went above and beyond customer’s expectations. They started a company that took pride in their work and made sure that ALL of their customer’s pools were well cared for. He has had some of his pools on service for more than 25 years. You can’t miss his big smile!
Jericho
Owner
Jericho partnered with Skip more than 28 years ago. He believes in the company’s commitment to its customers. He is a licensed contractor and works very hard at continuing his education so that he is on the cutting edge of the industry.
Tracy
Owner
Tracy has been indirectly in the pool service industry her entire life. She is the daughter of Skip and the wife of Jericho as well as the mother to Del and Dalanne. She is transitioning into a bigger role with the company so you will not only talk with her from time to time but she will also be out in the field.

Del
Contractor
Del spent many summers servicing pools for Backyard Pool & Spa. Upon completion of high school he entered the Navy and served his country for 4 years. He is a recently separated veteran going to school full-time and working full time with Backyard Pool & Spa. We are happy to have him back!
Dalanne
Contractor
Dalanne has spent summers in high school helping the business but is now returning in a limited role helping as needed. She has also started her own company with her wife Sam, Surf City Pools.
Sam
Repair Lead
Sam’s been with BPS for over 4 years. He recently advanced to our repair tech. He enjoys biking and grilling but also traveling with his girlfriend.
Alfredo
Commercial Service & Repair Lead
Alfredo began working with us back in May of 2023. He worked in pest control and at a steel mill before joining our team.
Leighton
Advanced Service Tech
Leighton joined us in July of 2023. He enjoys music, writing, and kickboxing. He also served 6 years in the Marine Corps.

Eddy
Commercial Service Tech
Eddy joined BPS in 2023, former line automotive technician for Honda for 5 plus years. Musician and Muay Thai practitioner on his spare time. Applying all his skills to achieve balance, perfect water chemistry, and stellar service to our customers!
Aaron
Service Tech
Arron started with BPS in 2024. He likes to go to music festivals and concerts He enjoys dancing and hangout with friends. You can also find him playing video games.
