Jericho and his team replaced my 43 year old pool heater in just after a few days from the initial call. With my grandkids coming, I wanted them to enjoy our pool. After the install Jericho helped me with some free technical assistance on two other issues. Most highly recommend Backyard Pool to those looking for quick, professional service.

Backyard Pool and Spa spent over a month and two home visits trying to help me get my spa fixed. They were communicative, on time, knowledgable and ultimately very honest about what they could and could not do. They were unable to fix my spa due to its age but gave me a very good recommendation to have it fixed. I appreciate their honest service and responsiveness.

We have used quite a few pool services and I have to say that this company has been the best thus far. Jericho came out right away and was very sincere in addressing our problem with our filter and pump. He was informative and didn't try to mislead me in anyway which I really appreciated. He fixed the problems with minimal cost without trying to upsell for something that wasn't needed. He even helped with other issues about our pool which was really cool of him to do. We will now use Backyard pool and spa for our regular service needs.

My unreliable pool pump decided to stop working the day before NYE. For the prior month, I manually primed the pump every day, while my regular pool service company reached out to distributors for a replacement with no success. I started the daunting task searching online reading reviews of pool service companies and the feedback on Backyard Pool & Spa got my attention.Keep in mind this was 4 PM Friday before New Year’s Eve. I submitted a service request believing with any luck, I’d hear back on Monday. 20 minutes later, I received a response from the owner Jericho asking for more details and photos of my equipment. After I replied to his request, Jericho followed up his recommendation along with a proposal. Still in a state of ecstatic disbelief, I asked if I paid the deposit today what would be the earliest he could do the install. He gave me 2 dates, one of them being the next Tuesday morning. The deposit was completed.Jericho punctuality showed up Tuesday texting me upon his arrival. The new Pentair replacement was completed under 2 hours and he took time at the end going through all the Pentair features in setting up the timer with the variable speeds.What more can I say. If you are searching for a new pool service company, you just found it.

What a breath of fresh air! Jericho and his crew have been fantastic. The first pool service we have had that is efficient, prompt, very knowledgeable and personable. Not only pool service, but pool repair that was correct the first time and very reasonably priced. We really appreciate their work!

I am a senior citizen and this is one of the top companies I have ever dealt with!! I can not rave any more about a company!! Jericho came out and gave me a free estimate. Our spa had been out of commission for about five years. The heater had rusted out and everything else was in poor condition. Several companies came out and said they wouldn't even bother with this work. Finally, one company recommended Backyard Pool & Spa Service. They said Jericho was a magician and if anyone could fix the spa it was him. Well, they were right. He came out and gave a free estimate and said he could do the job. Also, he noticed a gas smell and conscientiously just fixed turned off the gas valve that we didn't realize was open. Jericho worked us in immediately to his schedule even though he had a full workload already. Well, he was a magician, our spa is now working thanks to the efforts of Jericho and his children. His work was simply outstanding!! My wife is so thrilled to get the spa back, especially after such a tough 2020. Jericho was always ready to help and patiently explain our options. Even his wife, who answers phone calls, is amazing. She is so professional and courteous. They are a family business that makes you feel like family. I give them my highest recommendation possible!!

I highly recommend this company. They serviced our pool for about 15 years before they moved to San Diego. Always did a great job and made sure all of our equipment was working at all times and our pool was always ready to use. If there was ever a concern or question they were good at answering any concerns or questions we may of had in a very timely manner. Very satisfied with their service and highly recommend company.
